our name & Logo

Ntityix

‘ntityix,’ the syilx Okanagan word for Chief Spring Salmon, is the “Chief for all creatures in the water.” The salmon represents economic issues in the life of a community. The modern economy mimics the cyclical nature of the salmon’s life. The ups and downs in the economy are seasonal and normal; they cause us to persevere or prosper, but we must always keep the end goals in mind. The cycle does not end with us; it is passed on to the next generation.

Meaning Behind the Logo

Our logo represents the passion we have to excel in all we do. In the same way the two Salmon in the logomark swim against the current, we also push boundaries, overcome barriers, and strive to do the impossible.

Our logo combines the three symbols that represent the corporate vision and values of the Ntityix brand. They are the two salmon, seven salmon eggs, and water.

Two Salmon
Cycle of Life. Perseverance.
Hard Work. Provision. Sacrifice.

Seven Salmon Eggs
Coming Generations.
Renewal. Sustainability.

Water
Source of Life.
Progression. Cleansing.
