Ntityix Development is proud to announce the promotion of Nelson Derickson to the position of Chief Operating Officer. The COO is an executive leadership role to carry out the plans and procedures of the company, implement the strategic plan, oversee productivity, and improve processes. Nelson has proved his leadership, administrative, and management abilities over the past 13 years since joining the company. In the last two years, as Business Development Officer he was instrumental in assisting the company achieve a substantial increase to group revenue.
He was first an Administrative Assistant and summer student for two years, then Accounts Payable and Data Administrator for nearly four years. Nelson was Acting Manager for over a year in 2017-2018. He ensured business continuity while working with the team. He has been involved with HR, supervision, management, board meetings, projects, marketing, branding, sales, communication, sustainability, and policy development over the years. He created many new programs and implemented new systems to increase productivity for the companies.
Nelson earned his Indigenous Business Leadership Executive MBA degree from Simon Fraser University in 2023. He was also raising his daughter born in 2020, teenage stepson, and got married in 2022. He continues to drive sustainable growth as a member of the executive management team. We look forward to what we can accomplish working with Nelson as the new Chief Operating Officer.
